Employees were exposed to an explosion hazard and/or struck-by hazard.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazards created by in-going nip points, rotating parts, and/or flying chips and sparks:    1) Electrical Department - Employees were using a Rockwell Delta 15' drill Press (model number 15-665 and serial number 1461856) that was not equipped with a guard, exposing employees to a serious laceration hazard from the rotating bit and chuck.    2) Fabrication Area - Employees were using a Craftsman 15 1/2' drill Press (model number 11324591) that was not equipped with a guard, exposing employees to a serious laceration hazard from the rotating bit and chuck.    3) Fabrication Area - Employees were using a Solberga Willis drill Press (model number SE2035M) that had a broken guard, exposing employees to a serious laceration hazard from the rotating bit and chuck.    The Tuftco Finishing Systems, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314639329, citation number 01, item number 005 and was affirmed as a final order on June 13, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 100 West Industrial Boulevard, Dalton, GA 30722.

29 CFR 1910.303(f)(2): Each service, feeder, and branch circuit, at its disconnecting means or overcurrent device, was not legibly marked to indicate its purpose, nor located and arranged so the purpose was evident:  1) Assembly Area - The electrical panel was not properly identified, in that, each circuit was not legibly marked at the point or origin to indicate its purpose.  All circuit breakers on the 240Y/120 volt panel box were not marked.  Employees were exposed to a shock and/or burn hazards.
