29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) 760 Grove Avenue, Edison, NJ: Employees were observed utilizing pneumatic powered tools, including but not limited to a Hitachi nailers, during roofing operations without the use of eye or face protection. Condition observed on/or about August 15, 2014.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above the lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: a) 760 Grove Avenue, Edison, NJ: Employees were observed performing roofing operations at a height of approximately 18' to the roof eave to the ground below with no fall protection in place, exposing them to fall hazards. Condition observed on or about August 15, 2014. Ronny Contracting was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 526804, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on 04/01/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 407 Monmouth Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
