29 CFR 1910.272(j)(1): The employer did not develop and implement a written housekeeping program that established the frequency and the method(s) determined best to reduce accumulations of fugitive grain dust on ledges, floors, equipment, and other exposed surfaces: Employees working at the flour mill were exposed to fire hazards in that the housekeeping program did not insure prompt clean up of grain dust spilled from the pneumatic conveyor system "clean out" onto the surface of metal guard on the Allis Chalmers roller mill.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: Employees inspecting and maintaining batteries in the welding shop area of the warehouse were exposed to chemical burns. An eyewash was not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Heartland Mills, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 706938, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on January 16, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 124 N Hwy. 167, Marienthal, KS 67863.
