29 CFR 1910.176(b): Storage of material created a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers were not stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse: (a)City Market @ 1001 Thompson Road, Granby, CO 80446: On and before September 2nd, 2014, City Market did not ensure that the palletized material located on storage racks against the West wall of the warehouse was stable and secure. The pallets were protruding from the storage racks and were not limited in height, in that, the material was stored 7 to 8 feet in height off the pallet. The palletized material could become destabilized if a forklift were to contact the racks causing material to collapse contacting employees working in the area. This condition exposed employees to a struck-by or crushing hazard.
