29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of �1926.502(k) developed and implemented:                                                                                                             5531 Roose St Lincoln, NE 68506 (Job-site): The employer is failing ensure that fall protection was provided for employees who were working on the roof of a set of a townhouse which was approximately 19 feet from a lower level.    Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):  The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    5531 Roose St Lincoln, NE 68506 (Job-site): The employer is failing to ensure that a training program was provided to help employees minimize hazards when exposed to fall hazards.  The employer did not ensure that employees knew to use adequate fall protection when they were performing residential roofing work on a townhouse.    Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. Employees were using a portable ladder to access an upper landing surface.  The side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface.
