29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms are more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from another scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface shall be used. Crossbraces shall not be used as a means of access.    (a) Gas tank canopy - On or about October 1, 2014 two employees were exposed to a fall hazard due to a scaffold not having a ladder installed.  This scaffold was measured at 14.6 feet above the ground.     Stucco Brothers, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 966440, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 21, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 415 Riverwind Drive, Pearl, MS 39208.
