29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(i): Each employee who was constructing a leading edge 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Note:  If the employer could demonstrate that it was infeasible or created a greater hazard to use these systems, a fall protection plan meeting the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502 should have been developed and implemented:     On and before October 2, 2014, at a worksite located at 1280 Sawburg Avenue, Alliance, OH, during construction activities including but not limited to installing roof sheathing, the employer did not ensure all employees on the roof were using a fall protection while exposed to fall hazards ranging from 9 feet to 10 feet around the perimeter of the building and did not show the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest was infeasible.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:      On and before October 2, 2014, at a worksite located at 1280 Sawburg Avenue, Alliance, OH, during construction activities including but not limited to framing the roof, the employer did not ensure all employees on the roof were using a fall protection while exposed to fall hazards ranging from 9 feet to 10 feet around the perimeter of the building.     WINESBURG BUILDERS LTD. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.501 (B)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 977799, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JULY 15, 2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 41371 RECO ROAD, BELMONT, OH 43718.                                                            WINESBURG BUILDERS LTD. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.501 (B)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 953987, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON FEBRUARY 24, 2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 19575 CENTER RIDGE, ROCKY RIVER, OH, 44116.
