A sample taken on October 08, 2014 was determined to be an explosive CLASS II wood dust.

Employees were exposed to a fire/explosion hazard while sawing, sanding, and performing various activities for the manufacture of wood furniture. A sample taken on October 08, 2014 was determined to be a Division I CLASS II explosive combustible dust. a) Florescent lighting in the area was not explosion proof lighting. b) Comfort Zone electrical fans were utilized to provide ventilation in the area. c) Unapproved Sony portable radios were operating in the area.
