29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: a) On or about 10-14-14, the employer did not conduct adequate safety inspections of the worksite to address electrical hazards. There were cords running through wall holes that were not protected from damage prior to the installation of HVAC duct and conduit, temporary lighting was not secured in place, conductors for temporary lighting was hanging in walkways, and duct tape was used to cover holes in the electric panel.

29 CFR 1926.416(b)(2): Working spaces, walkways, and similar locations were not kept clear of cords which created a hazard to employees: a) On or about 10-14-14, employer failed to keep work areas clear of temporary lighting cords. 110V lighting cords were suspended from ceiling grids at less than seven (7) feet above walking/working surfaces, through doorways, and in hallways.
