29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (AMUTCD"), 1988 Edition, Revision 3, September 3, 1993, FHWA-SA-94-027 or Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millenium Edition, December 2000, FHWA.   A.) On October 22,2014,Urban Equity Properties LLC did not conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millennium Edition, Section 6C.05 when westbound East State St. motor traffic road users were not redirected from their normal travel path to a new path by channelization through the work zone. This exposed employees working in an aerial lift and in the traveled way to motor vehicle struck-by hazards.   B.) On October 22,2014,Urban Equity Properties LLC did not conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millennium Edition, Section 6G.11 when a partially obstructed westbound right lane was not equipped with a lane taper for approaching west bound East State St. motor traffic road users. Employees working in and near the traveled way were exposed to being struck-by motor vehicles.    C. On October 22,2014,Urban Equity Properties LLC did not conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millennium Edition, Section 6G.03 when approaching motor traffic road users were not warned of road construction work ahead. Employee working in and near the traveled way were exposed to being struck-by motor vehicles.   Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
