29 CFR 1910.213(h)(1): The sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade of a radial saw that was not guarded to the full diameter of the blade by a device that automatically adjusted itself to the thickness of the stock and remained in contact with the material:    (a) 548 Landisburg Road Landisburg, PA Warehouse - Employees used a "Black & Decker DeWalt "16 inch radial saw, to cut wood stock to manufacture pallets.  The bottom guard intended to protect the employees from the rotating saw blade was missing, thereby exposing the operator to amputation hazards, on or about October 30, 2014.       Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Romex is listed and labeled to be used for branch circuits into electrical boxes not into reloadable service plugs, thereby exposing employees to an electrical hazard on or about October 30, 2014.    (b) 548 Landisburg Road Landisburg, PA Warehouse - Romex wire was wired directly into the female cord cap next to the 16 inch radial arm saw.  The cord cap was used as an outlet for extension cords.  Romex is listed and labeled to be used for branch circuits into electrical boxes not into reloadable service plugs, thereby exposing employees to an electrical hazard on or about October 30, 2014.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
