Such storage shall be kept in closed metal containers stored in a storage cabinet or in safety cans or in an inside storage room not having a door that opens into that portion of the building used by the public. a) In safe room - The employer stored containers of Duratec Coating VOC 823A Crystal Clear Sealer on the shelves inside a safe room in office area where employees personal records and other documentation were stored and the door was open. Employees were exposed to flammable materials.

29 CFR 1910.95(k)(1): The employer did not train each employee who is exposed to noise at or above an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.95(k). The employer did not institute a training program and ensure employee participation in the program: a) In grinding area The employer failed to implement training for hearing conservation program to an employee grinding the fiberglass tubs. The employee was exposed to continuous noise at 132% of the permissible daily exposure of 85 dBA (8 hour time weighted average) or an equivalent sound level of 98.5 dBA. Results were from a 378 minute sampling period conducted on August 29, 2013. Employees were exposed to noise induced hearing loss.

Employees were exposed to the respiratory system irritation.
