29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: a) When skidding fallen timber with a CAT skidder, number 094U01753, which produced a maximum noise level of 103.3 decibels measured on the A scale, and when "bumping knots" with a Dolmar 6400 chainsaw with a 28 inch bar, which produced a maximum noise level of 115.1 decibels measured on the A scale, the noise employees were exposed to was not monitored.
