29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information: (a) Employees in the auto body shop performing restoration of vehicle body parts and installation of sprayed in bed liners on trucks are exposed to paints, solvents and isocyanates. Training was not provided regarding the new label elements (product identifier, signal word, pictogram, hazard statement(s), and precautionary requirements) and new safety data sheet (SDS) format. (b) Employees in the service and sales department and employees who assist these departments have potential exposure to oils, grease and parts cleaners. Training was not provided regarding the new label elements (product identifier, signal word, pictogram, hazard statement(s), and precautionary requirements) and new safety data sheet (SDS) format.
