29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(1): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of Methylene Bisphenyl Isocyanate listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the ceiling concentration of 0.2 mg/m3: (a) The truck bed lining spray applicator in the spray booth was exposed to Methylene Bisphenyl Isocyanate at a 15-minute ceiling level of 0.75 mg/m3, approximately 3.75 times the limit of 0.2 mg/m3. This limit is established to prevent respiratory sensitization and occupational asthma. The sample was collected on June 26, 2015 during a 14-minute sampling period. (b) The truck bed lining spray applicator in the spray booth was exposed to Methylene Bisphenyl Isocyanate at a 15-minute ceiling level of 0.53 mg/m3, approximately 2.65 times the limit of 0.2 mg/m3. This limit is established to prevent respiratory sensitization and occupational asthma. The sample was collected on June 26, 2015 during a 15-minute sampling period. (c) The truck bed lining spray applicator in the spray booth was exposed to Methylene Bisphenyl Isocyanate at a 15-minute ceiling level of 0.52 mg/m3, approximately 2.60 times the limit of 0.2 mg/m3. This limit is established to prevent respiratory sensitization and occupational asthma. The sample was collected on June 26, 2015 during a 14-minute sampling period. (d) The truck bed lining spray applicator in the spray booth was exposed to Methylene Bisphenyl Isocyanate at a 15-minute ceiling level of 0.36 mg/m3, approximately 1.80 times the limit of 0.2 mg/m3.
