29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 1540 New Holland Road - Employees of J&R Titan Construction, Inc tearing shingles off a roof were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately twenty-five (25) feet without the use of guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, on or about November 7th, 2014. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
