29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The employer did not compile a list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using a product identifier that was referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet. a) On or about November 20, 2014, employees working at Smoky Mountain Transfer. located at 816 Lower River Road in Charleston, TN, were exposed to hazardous materials (skin, eye, and respiratory irritants) and the employer did not develop a complete inventory list of hazardous materials currently being used by employees to complete work tasks. The chemical inventory list did not include (at minimum) Penray Starter Fluid, Mistry Oil, ServicePro Break Cleaner SP4520, Pro Chem Truex Gear Lub, PB Penetrate, Chevron Moly Grease EP MLGL2, TechSelect Transmission Fluid, NAPA Premium Performance Transmission Fluid. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
