29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels: a) An employee operating the #10 REED extruder was exposed to noise levels above 85 decibels (dBA), while operating the machine. An extrapolated full shift noise level at the edger is approximately 101.8% of the allowable 8-hour time weighted sound level of 90 decibels (dBA). The equivalent dBA level of 94.6% is approximately 90.2 dBA, and is representative of this employee 's 8-hour time -weighted average. The employer did not provide annual audiometric testing, on or about November 20, 2014. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
