29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: (a) LOCATION - Townhouse #1 patio: On or about 11/21/14, employees were exposed to impalement hazards when protruding reinforcing steel was not equipped with protective caps or other guard. The Diaz Construction Co., Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.701(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316169002, citation number 001, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on April 30, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 96 Oregon Road, Ashland, MA.
