29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): The employer permitted respirators with tight-fitting facepieces to be worn by employees with facial hair that comes between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face: At the worksite: On or about November 19, 2014, the employer allowed an employee to use a tight-fitting respirator while having a full beard when mixing caustic material into the drilling fluids. Employee was exposed to the hazards of chemical exposures.
