29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a. On or about December 3, 2014, on the northeast side of a residential house, an employee working on a 5/12 pitch roof was installing a metal flashing near the eave and was not protected from a 10 foot fall hazard by the use of a personal fall protection system. b. On or about December 3, 2014, on the south side of a residential house, employees working on a 5/12 pitch roof was installing asphalt shingles near the ridge of the roof and were not protected from a 16 foot fall hazard by the use of a personal fall protection system.
