29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. a) Community Center St Hwy 20 W. Freeport FL. 32439, On or about October 22, 2024 and prior to, the employer allowed their employees to perform roofing activities such as but not limited installing metal shingles on the edge of a low-slope roof without using fall protection which exposed the employees to falls of approximately 16 feet 11 inches to the ground below.
