Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. Located on Building #1 at the Park Crossing project in Gahanna, Ohio, employees were performing sheathing work on the roof of a commercial building without any means to protect the employees from a fall hazard, thereby exposing the employees to a maximum fall of approximately 28 feet. b. Located on Building #2 at the Park Crossing project in Gahanna, Ohio, employees were performing sheathing work on the roof of a commercial building without any means to protect the employees from a fall hazard, thereby exposing the employees to a maximum fall of approximately 28 feet.
