29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:    Jobsites: Workers were not required to wear adequate foot protection that provided protection from the 3000 psi pressure washer operating with water temperatures up to 185 F.     On 9-5-14  A worker suffered burns and subsequent medical amputation of two toes when the pressure washer water jet cut through the rubber boots and burned the skin on his feet.
