On or about December 11, 2014, at the pump room, five 1-gallon containers of muriatic acid were stored next to one 5-gallon container of the strong oxidizing agent, regal skimmer sticks, exposing employees to heat-producing chemical reaction hazards. The employer did not ensure that muriatic acid was separated from incompatible materials.
