OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards from a gasoline-powered cut-off machine:  1 Wampanoag Drive, Mashpee, MA:    Employees were exposed to struck-by and laceration hazards while cutting a 4-inch ductile iron pipe with a gasoline-powered STIHL cut-off machine that was equipped with a diamond blade with abrasive material on the sides.  On December 11, 2014, an employee suffered a severe facial laceration when the cut-off machine he was using became pinched in the pipe he was cutting and kicked back, hitting him in the face.
