29 CFR 1910.1027(i)(1)(ii): The employer did not provide and assure that employees use gloves, head coverings, and boots or foot coverings where the possibility of skin or eye irritation exists: Employees working in the production area were exposed to illness from dermal and ingestion hazards from exposure to cadmium in that gloves were not worn while performing the following work tasks: a) Operator did not use gloves while applying images to glass ware. b) Custodial worker did not use gloves while wiping down equipment. Screen It Graphics of Lawrence, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1027(i)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 912561, citation number 1, item number 3, group d, and was affirmed as a final order on 5/16/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 3840 Greenway Circle in Lawrence, Kansas.
