On or about 08 January 2015, two employees were using a pneumatic nail gun and a circular saw to perform framing activities without the use of eye protection, exposing the employee to the hazard of being struck by flying objects.

29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe.    On or about 08 January 2015, four employees where performing framing activities while using a circular saw with the guard blocked in the open position, preventing the guard from automatically returning to the covering position when the tool is withdrawn from the work material, exposing the employees to the hazard of being struck by flying debris and contact with the rotating saw blade.
