29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch:  Tongue guards were improperly adjusted, exposing employees to a struck by hazard in the following instances:  1)  In Building 5, the Ryobi 6" bench grinder had its left wheel tongue guard adjusted with an approximately 1 3/4 inch gap.  2)  In the maintenance area, the Jet grinder right wheel had its right wheel tongue guard adjusted to an approximately 1/2 inch gap.
