On or about January 7,2015 at location 3602 Breville St, Monroe, LA, the employer did not ensure that all employees wore eye protection when using electrical power equipment: A.) Employer allowed employees to use a pneumatic nail gun to install Permapro wrap to the side of the home without wearing eye and/or face protection. B.) Employer allowed the employees to use circular saw to cut 2' x 4' wood and plywood for the home without wearing eye and/or face protection.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): For all scaffolds not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, each employee shall be protected by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section. On or about January 7, 2015 at 3602 Breville St. Monroe, LA, the employer allowed employees to work from homemade wooden scaffolds at heights of approximately 12 feet without any fall protection or guardrails. The employer North American Land Development Corp., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451 (g)(1), which include OSHA inspection number 975281citation number 01and was affirmed as a final order on May 20, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 3602 Breville St, Monroe, LA 71203.
