The abrasive blaster was exposed to copper fume at an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) of 0.0058 milligrams per cubic meter (mg/m3) of air, approximately 0.05 times the  permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 0.1 mg/m3, beryllium at an 8-hour TWA of 0.0002 mg/m3 of air, approximately 0.09 times the PEL of 0.002 mg/m3, zinc oxide at an 8-hour TWA of 0.1453 mg/m3 of air, approximately 0.03 times the PEL of 5.0 mg/m3, cadmium at an 8-hour TWA of 0.0009 mg/m3 of air, approximately 0.19 times the PEL of 0.005 mg/m3, and iron oxide at an 8-hour TWA of 6.7534 mg/m3 of air, approximately 0.67 times the PEL of 10.0 mg/m3. The exposure combination was approximately 1.04 times the permissible 8-hour TWA concentration for the mixture. Sampling was performed for 222 minutes during one shift. Zero exposure was assumed for the 258 minutes not sampled.
