29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On January 29, 2015 and at times prior thereto; roof area west side; employees were observed working on a residential roof without fall protection to prevent them from falling 12 feet to ground level; roof pitch 8:12. The Dennis Martinez Beccrra was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 987605, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 18, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at 5312 B Street SE Washington, DC 20019.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) On January 29, 2015 and at times prior thereto; West-side of residential home; the ladder used to access the work area was 18 inches above the working platform exposing employees to a fall hazard of 19 feet to ground level while accessing or stepping off the ladder to the platform. The Dennis Martinez Beccrra was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 987605, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 18, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at 5312 B Street SE Washington, DC 20019.
