WORKSHOP: The employer had not verified through a written certification that the workplace hazard assessment for personal protective equipment (PPE) had been performed as complete. 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met. WORKSHOP: The employer had not established and implemented a written hazard communication program where employees were required to work with chemicals, such as (but not limited to) Easi way 701, Minwax, and inks. Zuse, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 986916, Citation Number 2, Item Number 3, issued on 09-15-2014, with a final order date of 10-3-14, with respect to a workplace location at 727 Boston Post Road, Guilford, CT, 06437.
