29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The employer did not compile a complete list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using a product identifier that was referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet.  (a) On or about February 12, 2015, at the VA Medical Center located at 1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN, the employer provided access and use by employees to Rust Oleum spray paint (eye, skin, and respiratory irritant) and did not maintain a current up to date chemical inventory list that reflected this material as being used on site.  Without proper information on hazardous materials, employees could mis-handle hazardous materials and expose themselves to skin, eye, and respiratory irritations.   Harbor Services was previously cited for a violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 994464, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, issued on 9/23/2014, with respect to workplace located at  1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN 38104.   Harbor Services was previously cited for a violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 905475, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, issued on  6/18/2013, with respect to workplace located at 1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN 38104.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

(a) On or about February 12, 2015, at the VA Medical Center located at 1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN, the employer provided access and use by employees to Rust Oleum spray paint (eye, skin, and respiratory irritant) and did not maintain a safety data sheet (SDS) for this material.  Without proper information on hazardous materials, employees could mis-handle hazardous materials and expose themselves to skin, eye, and respiratory irritations.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
