29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a) On or about February 3, 2015, and at times prior, truck drivers from Marsh Trucking LLC and El Paso Freight were exposed to fall hazards of greater than 9 feet when they stood on the lumber loaded onto their flatbed trucks in order to position a tarp to cover the load. Montrose Forest Products LLC, as the controlling employer, did not ensure that these employees utilized adequate personal protective equipment that would prevent them from falling.
