29 CFR 1928.57(a)(7): The employer did not protect employees from coming into contact with hazards created by moving machinery: (a) On or about February 13, 2015, and at times prior, employees were exposed to amputation and electrical hazards in that the employer did not implement a program to prevent unexpected start up of equipment during repair activities. An employee was injured while repairing an exhaust fan that was unexpectedly energized. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
