29 CFR 1910.147(a)(2)(ii): 1910.147(a)(2)(ii): Alternative measures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by the exception of 1910.147(a)(2)(ii) for routine, repetitive, and integral processes such as tool change, change over, and cleaning. (a) The employer did not ensure that employees which conduct cleaning activities on the freezer line, utilized appropriate alternative measures. This exposed employees to an amputation injury.
