Abatement certification is required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about 2/27/2015, Basement Area: The blades of a Corner Cutting machine were not adequately guarded when only ten pieces of stock were being cut. b) On or about 3/5/2015, Basement Area: The moving parts of a Head Stayer, machine #395, were not guarded. c) On or about 3/5/2015, Basement Area: The in going pinch point of an end conveyor on the FMC Corp Quad Stayer was not guarded. d) On or about 3/5/2015, Basement Area: Upper knife guards on the Double Scorer, machine #392, were missing. e) On or about 3/5/2015, Production Area: Moving take off arm on a Thompson Die Cutting Machine, machine #330, created a pinch point. f) On or about 3/5/2015, Production Area: Moving parts such as belts, rollers and wheels were not guarded on the International Folding Machine. Abatement certification is required for these items.
