29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation and/or ingoing nip points: (a) Department FFII-BCC: On or about 3/4/2015, employees were not provided with a guard or other guarding device such as, but not limited to, a handle or hand tool for use when setting the dog pin on the pack line 23-21 to assure that their hands are kept out of the point of operation between the reel flange and the pintle at the take up when setting 20 inch reels.
