29 CFR 1910.178(a)(6): The employer did not ensure that all nameplates and markings were in place: Employees operating forklifts (Identified as # 25 and #26) in the facility were exposed to struck-by hazards. The employees were exposed in that the control levers which operate the forks were missing the markings to indicate which direction the operator should move the lever(s) to avoid moving it in the opposite direction and striking someone or something.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): Signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not immediately apparent: Employees working in the old cooler room were exposed to hazards associated with leaving the facility. The employees were exposed in that directional exit signs were not immediately apparent to direct them to the nearest exit.
