29 CFR 1910.141(b)(1)(i): Potable water was not provided in all places of employment, for drinking, washing of the person, cooking, washing of foods, washing of cooking or eating utensils, washing of food preparation or processing premises, and personal:    a) At Robert A. Young Federal Building located at 1222 Spruce Street, St. Louis, Missouri, Protective Service Officers (PSOs) who were on guard duties were not permitted to have access to water. The officers were required to stay on their posts until relieved, however, on some occasions, no relief were given during their entire shifts.    b) At the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) building located at #1 Archives Rd., St. Louis, Missouri, Protective Service Officers (PSOs) who were on guard duties were not permitted to have access  to water. The officers were required to stay at their posts until relieved, however on some occasions, no relief were given during their entire shifts.    c) At the Federal Facilities located at 9700 Page Ave., Overland, Missouri Protective Service Officers (PSOs) who were on guard duties were not permitted to have access to water. The officers were required to stay at their posts until relieved; however, on some occasions no relief were provided during their entire shifts.     d) At the Federal Facilities, located at 4300 Goodfellow Blvd., St. Louis, Missouri, Protective Service Officers (PSOs) who were on guard duties were not permitted to have access to water. The officers were required to stay at their posts until relieved,; however, on some occasions no relief were provided during their entire shifts.    e) At the Media Distribution Division (MDD) site, located at 1655 Woodson Rd., Overland, Missouri, Protective Service Officers (PSOs) who were on guard duties were not permitted to have access to water. The officers were required to remain on the their posts until relieved; however on some occasions reliefs were not provided during their entire shifts.     f) At the IRS facility located at 1122 Town and Country Commons, Chester field, Missouri, and the facilities above,  the Protective Service Officers (PSOs) were not allowed access to water until 6 hours in to their 8 hour shifts, and 10 hours in to their 12 hour shifts. Also they were given only single reliefs in the early part of their 12 hour shifts. The officers were forced  remain at their posts without any relief for 8-9 hours.    The VEND TECH-SGI, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (name previously cited standard), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 974573,  citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/02/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 12229 Spruce Street, St. Louis, Missouri.
