29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Chaney Roofing Maintenance, Inc. on or about March 12, 2015, at the address of 300 Shady Ln. Norwalk, OH: The employer failed to ensure employees were protected from falls while performing roofing work on a commercial structure. The employees working from a steep sloped roof line were exposed to falls of approximately 11 ft. to the ground below. Chaney Roofing Maintenance, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 761281, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 14, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1810 E. Perry St. Port Clinton, OH.
