29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Chaney Roofing Maintenance, Inc. dba C.R.M., Inc. On or about August 14, 2023 at the address of 628 Lime City Rd., Rossford, OH 43460. The employer did not ensure employees were adequately protected from falls while working atop a steep roof commercial structure. Employee(s) installing roofing material in this condition were exposed to a fall hazards of 20 feet onto the ground (concrete/asphalt pavement) below.
