29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: (a) 3040 Peters Mountain Road Halifax, PA, - The employee was working from a 10 foot Werner fiberglass step ladder while the ladder was in the closed position and leaning up against a wall near the stairs going up to the second floor structure, thereby exposing the employee to an approximate 6 feet 6 inches fall hazard to the ground below, on or about March 18, 2015. No abatement certification or documentation required.
