29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not continuously maintained free of obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency: a/ J & M Futon/Edison NJ Site: Warehouse. Exit doors were blocked by boxes of product and other material preventing free escape from the facility in the event of a fire or other emergency. Warehouse Storage Area. 1/ Exit door located to the right of the Office was blocked by boxes of Verona Night Stands. 2/ Exit door located at the rear of the building next to the Futon storage area was blocked by a cardboard box of product and (blue) plastic containers. Observed on/or about 03/23/2015. The J & M Futon Covers Corporation DBA/J & M Furniture was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1011616, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/17/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 44 National Road Edison, NJ 08817.

29 CFR 1910.176(a): Aisle(s) or passageway(s) were not kept clear where mechanical handling equipment was used: a/ J & M Futon/Edison NJ Site: Warehouse. 1/ Aisle located to the right of the Office were blocked by boxes of Verona Night Stands. 2/ Shipping/Receiving Dock Last Aisle Futon Storage area was blocked by Futon storage and a cardboard box of product. Aisles were not maintained free of storage in the event of a fire or other emergency. Observed on/or about 03/23/2015. The J & M Futon Covers Corporation DBA/J & M Furniture was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1011616, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/17/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 44 National Road Edison, NJ 08817.
