29 CFR 1910.1025(d)(2): An initial determination was not made to determine if any employee may be exposed to lead at or above the action level: a) Firing range located at Schuetzen Park, Inc. 3167 Kennedy Blvd. North Bergen, NJ The employer did not initially determine worker exposure to lead for employees conducting firearms training. Lead contamination was found within the facility to include, 571 micrograms (ug) on the surface of the water cooler, 49.1 ug on the men's bathroom sink and 96.0 ug on the table in the Lounge. A bulk sample taken of dirt down range contained 47.5% lead. In addition, employees experienced elevated blood lead levels. Conditions observed on or about 3/26/2015.

Lead contamination was found within the facility to include: 571 micrograms (ug) on the surface of the water cooler, 49.1 ug on the men's bathroom sink and 96.0 ug on the table in the Lounge. A bulk sample taken of dirt down range contained 47.5% lead. In addition, employees experienced elevated blood lead levels of 43 ug/dL, 48 ug/dL and 71 ug/dL. Conditions observed on or about 3/26/2015.
