29 CFR 1910.23(c)(3): Regardless of height, open-sided floors, walkways, platforms, or runways above or adjacent to dangerous equipment, pickling or galvanizing tanks, degreasing units, and similar hazards shall be guarded with a standard railing and toe board.    a) Production Floor - On or about April 6, 2015 the employer did not provide a standard rail  for the west side crossover walkway on the Large Erosion Blanket Production Machine.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section.    a) Production Floor - On or about April 6, 2015, the employer did not develop, document and utilize a specific procedure for the Large Erosion Blanket Production Machine when performing adjustments to the netting bar while adjusting the material roll, to ensure that employees are properly locking out all energy sources to the machine when performing this service work.      Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
