29 CFR 1910.24(c): Fixed stairway(s) were not designed and/or constructed to carry a load of five times the normal live load anticipated or the strength to carry safely a moving load of 1000 pounds: Light Station Tower: Employees were exposed to potential fall hazards where the employer could not demonstrate the structural integrity of two stair steps marked with yellow caution tape where a spiral stair case leading to the top of the tower contained one step with a crack through the center of the tread width and another step repaired with a steel tread of a width narrower than the surrounding steps.
