29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: (a) Maintenance/Machine Shop: Employee uses a Baldor pedestal abrasive grinder (serial #P0303047204, model #G8-231-11) to grind metal. The Baldor grinder had a maximum opening of one inch between the abrasive wheel and tongue guard on the left side, as observed on April 6, 2015.
