29 CFR 1910.95(k)(1): The employer did not train each employee who is exposed to noise at or above an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.95(k). The employer did not institute a training program and ensure employee participation in the program:  a) Augusta Coating & Manufacturing, LLC, Thomson, GA - While an employee from small parts was drying out parts using compressed air at the line platform was exposed to noise levels at a time weighted average (TWA) of 99 dBA, which exceeded the action level of 85 dBA. Noise training was not conducted, on or about 4/7/15.  b) Augusta Coating & Manufacturing, LLC, Thomson, GA - While an employee from small parts was drying out parts using compressed air at the line platform was exposed to noise levels at a time weighted average (TWA) of 93.2 dBA, which exceeded the action level of 85 dBA. Noise training was not conducted, on or about 4/7/15.  c) Augusta Coating & Manufacturing, LLC, Thomson, GA - While an employee from small parts was drying out parts using compressed air at the line platform was exposed to noise levels at a time weighted average (TWA) of 94.3 dBA, which exceeded the action level of 85 dBA. Noise training was not conducted, on or about 4/7/15.

29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels:   a) Augusta Coating & Manufacturing, LLC, Thomson, GA - While an employee from small parts was drying out parts using compressed air at the line platform was exposed to noise levels at a time weighted average (TWA) of 99 dBA, which exceeded the action level of 85 dBA. The sample was taken a 455 minutes period. Zero was assumed for the unsampled period of 22 minutes. A hearing test was not conducted, on or about 4/7/15.  b) Augusta Coating & Manufacturing, LLC, Thomson, GA - While an employee from small parts was drying out parts using compressed air at the line platform was exposed to noise levels at a time weighted average (TWA) of 93.2 dBA, which exceeded the action level of 85 dBA. The sample was taken a 456 minutes period. Zero was assumed for the unsampled period of 24 minutes. A hearing test was not conducted, on or about 4/7/15.  c) Augusta Coating & Manufacturing, LLC, Thomson, GA - While an employee from small parts was drying out parts using compressed air at the line platform was exposed to noise levels at a time weighted average (TWA) of 94.3 dBA, which exceeded the action level of 85 dBA. The sample was taken a 458 minutes period. Zero was assumed for the unsampled period of 22 minutes. A hearing test was not conducted, on or about 4/7/15.
